On October 25th Animation Society hosted our second annual Spooktacular halloween screening event! Spooktacuar takes place on campus in Coppola Theater where each year we put together a halloween themed screening! This year we screened various Halloween specials from classic animated series such as: Courage The Cowardly Dog, SpongeBob SquarePants, Scooby Doo, The Grimm Adventures of Billy and Mandy and even the Simpsons!
Officers dress up in costume every year at the Spooktacular event and host a costume contest for club members. We then vote during intermission and reward the first place winner with a grand prize!
This years winner Maddy was dressed as Coraline and received a $40 Blick gift card
for winning first place!
Our hope is that we can continue to host this fun event every year and turn it into a fun tradition for the club in the future! Check out some of the costumes from this years Spooktacular below!
